Ricardo Side Jobs: I do freelance photography! I shoot anything but I prefer doing sport or event related work. Fav Activities: You can usually find me rock climbing, scrambling up something or trail running on some single-track trails. Philosophy: "Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted. And experience is often the most valuable thing you have to offer" Longest time without a shower: The longest I've gone without a shower was during my tour around Utah. We drove to Zion and back to Colorado hitting everything on the way. My friends and I didn’t shower for ten days straight, we climbed, hiked and camped every night! One of the best weeks of my life in all honesty. Best Outdoor Experience: One summer, A coworker and I backpacked into Rocky Mountain National Park with a bunch of climbing gear. We slept in a cave and fought off marmots all day. The next morning at 3am we scaled up the Petit Grepon. Caught one of the bet sunrises of our entire lives at 14k. The way down was an epic, my friend found out his ankle was broken during our rappel down. It took us about 10 hours to hike back to the car, we managed to get home back at 2am the next day. In the words of Yvon, "For me, when everything goes wrong, that's when adventure starts." |
